July 22, 200916 yr a great level of immersion....I'm just heading north out of KFNT right now in Carenado's Cessna 206 StationAir 6. BTW, a beautiful plane!I am really enjoying the feeling of flying through meteorological events (cloud formations, cloud densities, air currents (downdrafts, updrafts...)) as I am in level flight via trim and throttle settings. I see you miss so much of the weather immersion if you merely choose to set up an altitude and maintain it by Autopilot!If you normally just use Autopilot to set and maintain your altitude, I recommend highly that you practise keeping that altitude via just trim and throttle. It TRULY adds to the feeling of actual flight. Personally, it does for myself. :)Cheers,
