July 30, 200916 yr I have seen many situations where the sun largely out (partly cloudy), and yet I'm in moderate rain. That doesn't seem quite right to me. Are there any settings I can do to help with this? Will the "force destination wx" checkbox help? Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

I recently increased max cloud layers to 7 to try to help.I'm sure some of it has to do with nearby stations reporting "Clear" or CAVOK, and they are interfering with the nearest station reporting the rain.Does ASA remove outdated METARS? For instance, if Flint Michigan reports rain at 16:00, and Ann Arbor reports Clear skies from 14:00...can the Ann Arbor METAR be "thrown away"?
