Shockwave 3D Lights redux problem

Featured Replies

Theres a problem with my 3D lights...when i installed it the strobe and nav lights are blocky. If you don't get what i mean, here's a picuntitled.jpgI just want this problem fixed. I just want to remove it; i already uninstalled it, but the problem still exists. Can AVSIM help me?

If that is on a default aircraft, then when you install Shockwave Lights, it also creates a backup of your original config for the default FS aeroplanes prior to the lights having been changed, so you can simply use that, see the documentation for info on how to do that.If it is not on a default aircraft, then it could be another particular issue, especially if it is a complex add-on aeroplane that has a lot of lights on it. That is because there is a limit on how many lights you can have on an aeroplane in FS before it starts running into display issues. I can't recall the exact number of lights that is at the moment (it's either 9 or 13 - it's late here and that's my excuse for not remembering the exact number LOL). This tends to affect add-on aircraft that have custom stuff running on the lights it comes with - I know the FSX Ariane 737 is one that can suffer that problem if you are not careful, since it has a fancy effect on its wingtip lights that makes them illuminate the clouds at night.Al

I did restore that, but it didn't work. I just installed SP2 and it was gone, but i had no strobe lights at all. But it was better than the squares
