August 2, 200916 yr Greetings flight simmersI was wondering if it's possible to add as AI a ground vehicle in FS2004. :( For example, I have an Rosenbauer fire truck, and i want to put it in an airport, making a come and go trip from one point to another in a taxiway.I create with TTools 2 "virtual" Airports, named point1 and point2 (with the coordinates of both ends of a taxiway), then I add the Rosenbauer to Aircrafts030528.txtThen with "Simple AI" i have loaded the Airports030528, the Aircrafts030528, and do the flight plan.Well, the Rosenbauer doesn't appear in the selected location. :( Any hints? Thanks in advanceBest regardsSparky

It will reappear the parking spot prior to the next scheduled departure. This concept works if you make a "new" overlay airport - I always use an overlay (with a different ICAO code) as I do not believe such a plan can be added to an existing airport.I also use a unique 3 letter code for the parking space which I match in the aircraft.cfg file (the parking code).I will be on vacation for another week or ten days but will be happy to help you in greater detail when I return - just send me a Personal Message (PM).

August 22, 200916 yr In case anyone is interested, the work I did with "Sparky" is set at the McMurdo airport - really not much more than a icefield - in Antartica. This was bypassed by Microsoft. The scenery for this area is in a file from Flightsim.com named mcm_an.zip by Julian Avisenis. It is a rather interesting place to visit via FS2004 - a bit off the beaten path for most of us, but enjoyable if the temperature is 100+ where you live. :(
