I had just receieved my copy of PMDG's MD-11 for the FS9. Unfortunately, it wont let me install it because it says I need to have FS9.1I knew I already had it but I reinstalled the patch anyways. Once i did. It told me that I couldn't reinstall it because I already have installed it (the patch). so Now I'm confused on why the MD-11 wont work when I already have my FS9.1 patch installed.

The official patch or a no cd patched 9.1?Not the French fs9 is it?John Ellison

no it's the english version and yes I am using the official patch from fs9.1

Did you install it correctly? I know I originally didn't. You have to put the installer into your FS9 main folder and run it from there. It doesn't install correctly if you install it from your desktop or any other location. Oddly, it doesn't say there is a error when you install it from the wrong location. RegardsRichie

I'm using a CD though

XP? Vista? Did you get the update from Microshaft... oops Micrsoft?I'd be inclined to uninstall it - redownload and put it in the fs9 folder and install again after a reboot.John Ellison
