FSX will not unload, but zero issues when flying...

Featured Replies

Hi,I am trying out Windows 7 and so far it is working just fine and am getting some great performance. I am oc'd from 3.0 3.8 and FSX is performing without issues. I have flow for 3 hours and mixing up the settings, changing views etc. In other words I have been giving it a workout. No CTD's, great performance, but when I close, it's footprint is still in memory but not using any processor time. It just will not unload. If I ctrl-alt-del, she locks up. I have never experienced anything like this before. It just runs flawlessly. Any suggestions? RegardsBob

Do you run the game in admin mode, and what addons/plugins have you installed?
Hi,FSX is on another drive not the x86 directory but I do not execute as admin. This really has me puzzled. UTX-GTX is all at the moment for addins.ThanksBob

First thing I myself would do is try to ReStart PC, which might just reset things to 'normal', until I could figure out what was going on and still be able to play FSX and be able to go surf or play FeeCell when I am done flying. Do you have a 'Re-Set' (Power) button. I would use that if it froze up. Just my 2 cent idea.Chuck BNapamule
