  1. The game visuals stuck as being like out-of-focus, from the update. Cranking sharpening up removed some of the mushiness and improved clarity. This was on a previously Reshade profile tweaked for SU4. Not commenting the on the texture resolutions.
  2. I hope upcoming QoL changes are somewhat major in nature, but I'm holding my breath. There are some hardcoded stuff like impossible vertically stacked landing surfaces, perpetual snow cover and curved runways which devs have no control over. Some basic stuff is lacking as well. For example even a basic manual for the Airship 600. A picture illustrating the controls would be a partial success. Newcomers will be turned-off as even experienced simmers get frustrated.
  3. Stumbled onto an amusing drifting possibility in FS24 SU4. Sal1800's model. Stumbled onto an amusing drifting possibility in FS24 SU4. Sal1800's model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8u4HdBSl9DM
  4. Initial impressions after a couple of hours. Plenty of effects, most of which seem useful for miljet, heli and GA flying. Other options are better as well. Some downgrading has occurred in amount of actual sounds, for example FSR had 10 rumbles, 7 ground fxs / winds, 13 touchdowns, 13 shakes and 5 taxis. I really enjoyed the airfield ambience fx in last version, now it is gone.
  5. Santa Monica and Venice beach area has been modded to suit better with the update. Venice Beach tune-ups, California, USA
  6. This app can be used for mapping controls outside of games. "This release is a complete rewrite of the user interface and how the profile architecture. Along the way a lot of other things have changed, some of which are summarised below. User interface entirely redone in QML using PySide6 Drag & drop for action reordering Collapsing actions Dark mode support Turning axis or hat into a button accessible at the top of an action sequence Profile architecture completely redone with actions and inputs no longer being tied together Assigning existing actions to different inputs Copying contents of an action to new inputs Only actions which can be nested to an arbitrary depth Actions can exist on multiple inputs, enabling, multi-input actions Conditions are actions too now User configurable folder for third-party action plugins An internal logical device was added that can be used as an internal storage Mode switching supports more complicated flows Improved various tools such as calibration and 1:1 mapping Improved actions Piecewise linear response curve added More control over the activation of "Map to X" actions A side effect of these changes, especially the profile architecture, is that previous profiles are not compatible. For now there is no conversion tool and there may never be one as writing a robust one likely will take significant amount of time to write and especially test. There are also some aspects that are still missing. Depending on their utility they will over time be added back in." https://github.com/WhiteMagic/JoystickGremlin/releases
  7. This project is shaping up nicely, well done. Do you want to receive bug reports?
  8. Feature request / bug report. App Version 0.4.5.5 / FS24 SU3 Rivatuner / 7.3.6.28010 Issue: When nVidia "Background application max frame rate" mode is activated (I do dev work), AutoFPS fails to acquire correct FPS from sim upon activating the FS24 window; It stays in low LOD modes. My background FPS is set to 20, and AutoFPS sees that value. Weirdly, I'm able to see correct FPS from another app (CapframeX), which uses Rivatuner as well. Settings: NFR / 50 / VFR defaults / Auto target checkbox off Expected behaviour: AutoFPS to revert back to expected LOD mode behaviour whilst Flight Sim is the active app.
  9. MSFS 2020 / MS Store edition 1.38.2.0. After installing the sim to brand new computer, I had this happen as well. I couln't find the files listed earlier in this thread. Setting DirectX version to 12 from nVidia app bypassed the loading screen crash.
  10. the Reshade package is superior, but the new DirectX hooks (possibly) cause a ctd if Dxtory is running. Theres a thread on the forum with log files.
  11. Encountered this as well. Another thread http://www.avsim.com/topic/449337-sweetfx-not-working-with-v23/ Edit. Do not select Ultra water detail, this is the cause.
  12. Has anybody solved this issue with a method not listed above? Using the menu bar disables the shaders every time.

  15. Thats weird, since the procedure described above is the workaround to get TFX working, except the path for terrain.cfg is C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
  16. Looks like a great alternative for eventual P3D release(?), if the commercial competitors fail.
  17. Perhaps this? http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/7947-force-dvi-hdmi-resolutions-refresh-rates.html

  20. Some tinkering might be required to get it working in cp3d.
  21. Thanks. Scenery is in the title. Hoonah might fall into FTX SAK coverage.
  22. Since you liked the L-39 clip, here's one with a similar format. Full, uncut flight in scenic Tongass Fjords. Improved version with comms and map presentation. Time stamps are in the description.
