February 10, 20251 yr Hello to all, first of all I want to apologise for my English, I am using a translator, as I can't find forums in Spanish that can help me. For the last fifteen days the MFS20 has been locking up on the loading screen, I have tried the following things: - Updating microsoft windows. - Uninstall and install MFS20. - Delete folder in %appdata%. I have the game on Steam and I have played with it more than 300 hours, so it is not a hardware problem, since I run it with a RTX 4070, I5 11400F and 32Gb of RAM. The game generates the following code: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sl_WFCQv4yrdbP8jy3KqmGjjLJvBytac/view?usp=sharing Thank you all for your help.

February 10, 20251 yr Did you update your Nvidea APP by any chance Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
February 10, 20251 yr I've been having the same issue and I believe its caused by the NVIDIA APP creating faulty dll's. There is a thread I will link on how to fix it. It's a simple select-all and delete. TLDR: C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA\NGX\models search "190_E658703.dll" DELETE ALL, Sim will boot up. BE AWARE: They do get re-created im not sure how often but if it happens again just do this same process. I hope this helps, it helped me. February 10, 20251 yr Author Thank you all very much, finally it was a problem with the .dll files generated by Nvidia. Everything works perfectly now 🥰
March 16, 20251 yr This worked for me too I also run MSFS2024 on the same PC which appears so far to be unaffected by removing these Nvidia files What is the situation going forward? Nvidia regularly updates its graphic card drivers Great to be flying in MSFS 2020 again after a month+ off!thanks to all xxd09 PS I had recently updated a graphics card to a 4070 TiSuper Edited March 16, 20251 yr by xxd09 Spelling
March 16, 20251 yr The solution is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
March 16, 20251 yr The deleted Nvidia files are regenerated so short of deleting these files before every game it looks like the Nvidia app deletion is the next step but will need this app for updating drivers going forward so it would be fine if Nvidia and Microsoft sorted out this conflict ASAP xxd09
March 16, 20251 yr Further study of this problem can involve deleting Nvidia App and/or using DirectX 12 as opposed to Direct X 11 For users of MSFS 2020 and 2024 on the same PC which appears-guidance needed xxd09
March 16, 20251 yr I had the same problem with 2024 for a couple of weeks. Installed and reinstalled about five times. Still happened. Turned out it was the sl.pcl.dll file. Deleted it and it loaded fine. Happened again after the latest update. Deleted the .dll file and it worked fine again. Anyone that has it in 2024 it's in C:\XBox/MSFS2024/Content folder. I also noticed less performance and weird stutters with the app. / CPU: Intel i7-9700K @4.9 / RAM: 32GB G.Skill 3200 / GPU: RTX 4080 16GB / Freight Pilot
March 16, 20251 yr What do you then do re updating your Nvidia graphic card drivers which seem to appear on a very regular basis? xxd09

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! I purchased my 4080 way back when they came out and I've updated the driver twice. If I want to update for whatever reason, I can always either download from their site or just reinstall the app and then uninstall after. Easy. / CPU: Intel i7-9700K @4.9 / RAM: 32GB G.Skill 3200 / GPU: RTX 4080 16GB / Freight Pilot
