July 13Jul 13 Just read about this: Flightsim.toWildfire Panel App - MSFS Add-on - Flightsim.to✓ For Microsoft Flight Simulator: This add-on introduces a wildfire tracking and suppression app for Microsoft Flight Simulator. It uses real-world wildfire data from NASA FIRMS to spawn fires that usNot tested, just discovered Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
July 13Jul 13 While a bit more manual than you might like, the Miltech Mission Hub allows you to create firefighting missions. Choose a spawn airport, place a firefighting activity area over a forested area and you're good to go. You can set the radius to be quite large, good for randomization, you can play the same mission many times as the fires will spawn randomly in the radius, and you set the number of fires as well. You can also 'set fires' on oil rigs, buildings, pretty much anywhere, so it leads to some creative missions lol. I've done at least one were the fire was set up as a traffic accident.Haven't tried it, but in theory, this could work for multiplayer firefighting actually. Here they do a SAR mission in multiplayer:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9Z6oxJ6wM8 MSI Aegis R | Intel i7-14700F | NVIDIA RTX 4060 | 1TB NVMe | 32GB RAM | Windows 11

Does it detect that somehow?Yeah, its more of a drop than a spray - I have the new Dolphin/Dauphin helo from Taog and have been using that, but the default air tractor and the dual prop version (name escapes me) both work as well. I think there might be a payware helo with the spray cannon, I just don't remember who made it. Maybe the Mi-60?The Mission Hub seems like it uses the same scripts as the firefighting missions in the Career mode. It just doesn't do it automatically, you need to build out the mission steps yourself. Which honestly doesn't take that long once you've made your first few. It only gets complicated if you want multiple activities in one mission, like for SAR missions you can set up the rescue, then add an objective to deliver the patient to a hospital, then return to base. For firefighting, it'll be more straightforward. Not my site, and I have no affiliation, but you can see a demo of it here - https://missiongen.azurewebsites.net/Someone built an AI powered version that will make missions for you, but you can switch over to manual and play around to see if its worth getting. The actual In-Game mission editor is very similar. While I like the career mode firefighting missions, I vividly recall one of the first missions I did I was able to put the fire out in my first pass with the water I had loaded up already - therefore skipping the phase of mission where you land on a nearby lake and scoop - and actually got a WORSE ranking for missing that step, as opposed to a nice S rank for putting the fire out in a timely manner. I haven't done one in career mode since. While the mission hub doesn't have the same stakes, there's no ranking or money rewarded, it does allow you to make as many attempts or passes as you need without judgement lol MSI Aegis R | Intel i7-14700F | NVIDIA RTX 4060 | 1TB NVMe | 32GB RAM | Windows 11
July 14Jul 14 Author Thanks for the suggestions.I own the MH already and might as well try the missions.I do would prefer unscripted fires' nature, but options are always nice, nifty during off-season as well. https://www.youtube.com/user/JustaRandomSimmer Simulator Videos http://sierra-hotel.blogspot.com Aviation Picture Blog
