Any difference between 6 sticks @ 1GIG each ....or 3 sticks @ 2GIG each?And why?thanks

Fewer banks means less stress on the memory controller which provides 2 things:1) allows for higher CPU overclocks (both core and uncore speeds)2) allows for higher memory clocks at stock and overclocked
