August 15, 200916 yr Specs: i7 920 clocked @ 3.8GHz6Gb OCZ Platinum DDR3 7-7-7-24GTX260XP64FSX SP1 & 2Hello,As in the specs above I'm running overclocked i7 with nHancer and FSX.cfg tweaks by Nick N. This is my first, fresh installation of FSX. When in spot view (Bell @ KORD) when I rotate the view around the aircraft, I get vertical lines and sometimes boxes (I'm sure there's a technical name for these) going from the scenery to the top of the screen. I've tried to capture the screen but I always come up with a normal screen shot. The lines/boxes are there for just a second, when these display the sim stutters as well. When I set the autogen and scenery complexity sliders to dense, these seem to go away, if I start increasing it to Very Dense or Extremely Dense, the issue respectively worsens. The issue gets a bit better when I'm in VC but not all that much.Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated. I haven't found any other method.Regards,John
August 15, 200916 yr Author Hi John,Thanks for the reply. Are you talking about Ground Scenery Shadows check box in FSX or an individual setting in FSX.cfg? I have the first setting in FSX unchecked. August 15, 200916 yr Hi John,Thanks for the reply. Are you talking about Ground Scenery Shadows check box in FSX or an individual setting in FSX.cfg? I have the first setting in FSX unchecked.I was referring to ground scenery shadows. With them off, I have not seen the issue (however I uninstalled SP-2 some time ago and only run SP-1).-John
