FSX and ATI Tray tools

Featured Replies

HiHaving just made the transition from FS9 to FSX on my old computer (for test purposes) I've been following NickN's tutorial for setup, which has very little on ATI cards. However, having an old ATI card and using ATI tray tools for settings in FS9, I'm wondering what the recommended settings are?In FS9 I had a nice setup and control AA, AF, vsync and all that direct from tray tools and left AA in the sim settings unchecked. Is this still true and the recommended way for FSX? Would I be a happy camper if I used the same settings for FSX that I used for FS9?The system is old, but I'll only be using default stuff with low settings. AMD 3800+, 4Gb memory, ATI Radeon X850XT.I'm currently able to hit 10-11 fps parked and in the circuit at KSEA in the default Cessna.
