Hey all,Please help me, this has had me tearing my hair out. I have just installed RC 4.3 and I have followed the installation instructions. I am running vista 32 bit home. When ever I select start program as admin, I get the aforementioned error (the comdlg32.ocx or one of its other files are missing or not corretly registered etc etc) I have followed the guide shown in the FAQ link however this has had absolutly no affect and I am left very frustrated by all this.Can someone please help??

is comdlg32.ocx in the windows\system32 directory?click start, in the search box type cmd, and press simultaneously, ctrl-shift-enter. (what does that do, you ask? it starts the dos prompt with admin rights, which you need to register the file)type, exactlycd %windir%\system32you should get a prompt that may look likec:\windows\system32>type exactlyregsvr32 /u comdlg32.ocxyou may or may not get a successful dialog box (depends on whether it was ever registered correctly or not)then type exactlyregsvr32 comdlg32.ocxyou should get a successful dialog box.if something doesn't work the way i describe, make a screen capture of the dos window, and the error window, and send it to me, [email protected]

Right,I followed your instructions and it made the comdlg error go away! Great :DHowever I then got the error (on startup) that mscomct32.ocx was missing or not correctly registered. Sure enough it was no where on my system so I downloaded it, popped it in the system 32 directory and registered it. Heres the problem, now when I start up the program it tells me that my copy is now unregistered (after registering the other day....)I have the new product key which I will send you in an email to get this thing activated again and hope to god it now works..!
