Hi there, I have a doubt about the sound in FS9 and FSX:Are they MONO, Sterero or Dolby Surround (5.1)?I need to know to decide myself abou the number of loudspeakers to use.Thanks a lotMAD

Well I wouldn't say FSX has true 5.1 surround capabilities, but you can certainly use a 5.1 speaker system. The rear speaker output will be an interpolation of what you might hear behind you well in the VC or behind the aircraft etcI did use 5.1 but I only have my two front left and right plugged in with my sub...2.1 mainly because I don't have a good spot for the other speakers
