JABAir 2000

Recommended Posts

I have a lot of aircraft hangered in JAB 2000, but since I upgraded my computer I can not get JABAir 2000 to open. All of the folders of the aircraft I have hangered there are still in my FS2002 Aircraft folder but do not show up in FS2002. What can I do to either the config.file or Air.file to get these aircraft to appear in FS2002. Any help apprciated. If I only knew what changes were made in each aircraft file when I chose to have an aircraft not appear in FS220 when I deselected it in JABAir 2000.Thanks for any suggestions.

It's been a long time since I used JAB but I think it changes the extension on the aircraft.cfg file to something like aircraft.jab which "hides" the aircraft in the JAB hangar. Or maybe it's the .air file that's changed(?). Anyway, you might want to check and see if the file extensions seem to be named as they should be. I think fixing up the file extensions will get you back in business. Doug

JAB2000 creates two types of file extentions.A backup of the aircraft.cfg file is created called aircraft.ori if you alter any values. If you deselect the aircraft in the JAB menu it changes the aircraft.cfg file to aircraft.out...A brilliant program and a great pity it's no longer available..boneshttp://fsaviation.net
