August 28, 200916 yr Hi everyone,I seem to be having a problem getting up and running. My first problem is when I launch the program before starting FS9.This is what I get. Also I downloaded the preconfigured proxyuser.ini file from Ed Truthan's tutorial website. When I look at the different service providers I do not see Microsoft VE or Yahoo Maps. Just some other server looking addresses that I don't recognise.Do I have to manually go in and change the servers? I am confused. To save my potential helpers a lot of time I have during install placed the cached folder on a seperate drive AND have already made sure that they are linked by changing the address string in the proxyuser.ini file.Hopefully I am just overlooking some simple stupid step. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks gang,Stache
August 28, 200916 yr Use service 1 (VE) for Europe or service 3 (Yahoo) if you are flying in North America.Ed's standard proxyuser.ini is fine to get you started but you will find yourself tweaking it once you are up and running.I used the standard install routine to run everything on my C drive until I really got the hang of how it worked. It was only then, I set it up on a different hard drive.4.75 meter textures in FS9 aren't that great but the increased resolution avilable in FSX is superb. If you have a system that can run FSX, that's the way to go.Post your system spec and operating system for further help.IAN Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

August 29, 200916 yr If you have vista, did you disable UAC? Alternatively starting Tileproxy with Administrator permissions could help.If you're using 64 bit vista, did you disable the driver signing requirement in the boot menu (F8 key early during boot)Christian
