Ground Stops

Featured Replies

Is it possible for RC to issue a ground stop for a arrival airport? I fly to EWR IAH and CLE and they are always having ground delays and ground stops.

FC usually ground stops an airport for hours, not minutes. I recall KEWR and KJFK being 'stopped' regularlly. It was never a less-than-an-hour thing. What criteria would you be willing to wait for release? Most users aren't interested in ground stops, but that doesn't mean it can't be an option.Doug

easy for you to say :( if you want to simulate a ground stop, shutdown rc for an hour, and then come back :-)seriously, it's a cool idea on paper, but the number of people who would use it would be miniscule, IMHO, and other features that more people would use more often have a higher priority in my stack :-)jd
