ActiveCam Head Latency

Featured Replies

What head latency do you guys use? Just wondering what your preferences are, and why.

I use a head latency of 1.0, because I fly big airliners and at that latency I get an appropriate head reaction. If I fly a smaller plane(esp an acrobatic one) I will lower the latency to between .2 and .5.

.25 & ground turbulence at 0.00I like to do aerobatics without my "eyes" jerking all over the place.Need to keep track of what I'm doing!L.Adamson

while we're on the subject...are there any fs2004 users that can confirm whether or not Active Camera Head Latency & Ground Turbulence are working in the new sim??Very curious about this as i would hate to lose this wonderful moduleDave

I use 1.5 for latency and 1 for ground turbulence, GA aircraft flying only. Joel

I wish that the author of this great program offered a switch to enable or disable so that when your on the ground (ie when ground turbulance is being used) that head latency is off. I know there is a hot key for this and I use it but it would be great to have this without hitting the hotkey. That way when your rolling during a cross wind your not trying to drive the plane out of the corner of your eye with head latency and dont have to activate it once your off the ground and turn it off when you land.Kilstorm
