September 12, 200916 yr Commercial Member Hi, after installing tileproxy, i am in the middle of tweaking and playing around with various things to get it right. One of the things I did was to delete my old .cfg file and form a new one for tileproxy useage. I also am using my marox dual head and experimenting changing between using 3840 across 2 screens or 1920 across one screen, to see if it helps performance ( Irt doesnt by the way)Some how, something has changed with the views and zoom with my planes and I dont know what. For example, I regularly fly the cirrus, which came with no outside views, so I just added the views from the T-45 freeware trainer jet, as they are great. This all worked brilliantly in the past, but the actaul point of view in each view was quite distant from the plane. i did not mind this, as i do not want the plane filling the whole screen in an outside shot. However now, something has changed and in all planes | have treid using so far, the point of view is really close to the plane and if I zoom out using the mouse wheel, I cant even get further than about 4 metres away from the plane. The view is also distorted and only looks correct if i adjust the zoom level to 1, which is right next to the plane. Can anyone help? The wierd thing is it has happened to all planes many of which had different factory views and I have not touched the .cfg files of any of them!!cheers, Mark
September 12, 200916 yr I'm not sure if this will work or not. If you use Ctrl+- and Ctrl+= key combinations you can move your eyepoint in the exterior view. One of those will move you further than 4m from the aircraft the other closer (I can't remember which). I hope the key combination is correct as I've changed just about every key in my FSX but I think this is one I left as the default. It may then be worthwhile saving this flight as your default flight. The fact that all your aircraft are at the same zoom indicates that this setting may be in your default flight and loading a new aircraft doesn't change it. I could be wrong on this but it's the first thing I'd try to fix the problem.
September 12, 200916 yr While in spot view hit: Ctrl+Space .. then hit BackspaceThis resets orientation and zoom..
