September 13, 200916 yr Hi,Recently I downloaded SP1 for ASA and I was amazed at how much of an improvement it was, and its reliability to connect to FSX in a network environment everytime. As I mentioned, to meet my goal of reducing the impact on framerates, I chose to install ASA on another PC.Currently, I'm looking at the possibility of adding X Graphics to improve the textures in FSX. I have the following questions:1) Can X Graphics be installed on another PC like ASA (i.e. networked)?2) I assume you run X-graphics to create the textures desired, which are then saved in an FSX file folder, and when you run ASA, is there is a way you can select these saved textures?3) How much of a framerate hit do these X-Graphic textures have?I guess what I'm looking for is how ASA and X Graphics interact in a network environment?Bill Clark Windows 10 Pro, Ver 21H2 CPU I5-8600K 5.0GHz, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 VRAM 24GB Gigabyte Z370 Gaming 7, 2TB M2.NVMe, RAM 32GB

X graphics lets you setup themes prior to launching FSX.. so it's not going to take anything away while your playing.2: That's done automatically.. for example you can select the type of clouds you want and those will just replace the default textures.3: It depends on what resolution textures you decide to use.. if you stick to small file size you are only adding variety, where as if you go to a higher res you are going to have some slow down. Also I want to add that DX10 mode doesn't work too well with xgraphics.. however dx9 is just fine.
