Sound set up

Featured Replies

Good day.I am trying to achieve the following scenario:1) I would like to hear all the sounds, voice and engines coming from my speakers, not through the headset.2) I would like to be able to mute these sounds at the same time I key the Microphone to make my responses?3) Alternatively, instead of muting the sound, is there maybe a way to make the ambient sounds (engines etc) lower when I key the mic so that those sounds do not interfere with my transmission?Any assistance would be appreciated.Thank youNorm

Hi,It would be a good idea to read as many post as possible before asking a question. There are several posts out there that may help you. For example, take a look at my post "VOXATC AND SOUND SYSTEM". It may be the answer that you were looking for (?)I use VoxATC and SquawkBox in VATSIM. All of my comms are in my headset/mic and all other sounds are from my sound system (speakers).Good luck to you.

Thank youI have been using forums for many years and I do realise the significance of searching before posting? In this regard, obviously my choice of search data did not reap the results I was looking for! That being said, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply and I am about to go and explore your post. Thanks againNorm
