  1. All sorted now. I re-register with a different email address and all is working now
  2. What a bummer! same situation here. It used to work fine, until one day... :( someone decided to fix the unbroken. "I've just tried registering to the edi-gla site. It's letting me register but not letting me log in." (ref. chrisinnewark) Sent a message to the Administrator but no response yet...
  3. Hi, Elementary my dear "Lewis": Three ingrediants - 1) Cheap tablet case. I bought two, one for every day use and the other was modified. 2) A small piece of medium thickness of memory foam. Highest density possible. I walked into a matress retailer and asked for a free sample!! and, 3) Wide velcro strap. Found one in my garage. a) Choose the best position for the velcro strap on your thigh (mark it). b) Glue the strap to the back of the tablet case. I use it on my left so the flap falls away from me and the buckel is on the right very close to the edge of the case. c) Cut to size and glue the Memory foam to the back of the case and on top of the velcro strap d) E pronto, andiamo in volo! Or you may choose from a various models of ready made.
  4. Hi Erik, Thank you for this app. Just one tiny cosmetic detail, the splash screen reads version 1.02 but your latest is 1.05. I have logged 250hrs on this bird and still use the check list; I keep my Acer tab straped to my thigh.
  5. @voodoo101: Thanks. I decided to take a chance after several scans and re-classified it as safe. All is well and working. @vonmar: W7, although I don't see the relevance. Thank you for answering and help
  6. As per instructions, un-installed via Control Panel.
  7. Hi, I have been using VoxATC from the onset. Never had a problem during installation due to an Antivirus or firewall, until today. Downloaded version 6.46. Deleted version 6.34. Un-zipped the new download and as soon as it unpacked, Norton classified the .msi as a high security risk and deleted it (quarantined). I re-classified the file as safe and re-instated it. The installation went as planned and all seem to be ok until I tried to run "Flight Plan Trainer". Yet again Norton stopped the application from running as it deemed it high risk. Upon further inspection I found the following -allegedly, high risk files: "linezer0.part01.rar" and "lzpdffr01.zip" reported as compressed threats. Could someone throw a light on this issue. Thank you. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ANSWERING IF YOUR SUGGESTION IS TO REMOVE NORTON INTERNET SECURITY
  8. Available for a short time only: use the link below. You are free to use and distribute the contents of the zip file. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ihzfm17fkkbit1k/SaitekEngineStart.zip
  9. FYI lads, If you want better sounds coming from your Basler's PT6s, take advantage of this sale: US$ 5.00 only Sonic Solutions Twin Otter Sound Pack: http://www.fspilotshop.com/specials.php?page=1 Downloaded and installed it last night. Cheers!
  10. Hi, If you have ran out of options and non of the suggestions are working for you, go for a full un-install and re-install a fresh FSX copy. Painful and tediuos but worth it at the end. To un-install completly (I have used it in a multitud of machines - IT Pro) I suggest you use THIS software. Do not get too bothered with the big installation, just download and run the 'Portable Download', which can be found at the foot of the page. Make sure you read the manual and understand it (easy) before you take any action. This software will backup your registry and create a recovery point. You'll be able to go back if you change your mind. All you need to do is point it to fsx.exe. Presto! Good luck.
  11. FYI: Dodosim Bell 206: can be shared, but it is complex, difficult and unstable... not shared really! Katana DA20-100 4X: not shared I would be very happy to be told that I'm wrong and if so, please provide step-by-step instructions (proof!) Cheers!
  12. Hi, I need a little help. I just installed the 3D gauges and all of my gauges have gone black. I'm sure this is nothing more than a self-inflicted injury, but I can't find or identify the error (damage shown below). Thank you for your assistance. Please ignore the above. I found the problem, (me!) and have taken appropiate action (slap on the hand and a smack on the back of the head - Gibbs' manoeuvre!). The key word was... EXTRACT... D'oh!!
  13. Thank you for the suggestion of "DropBox"; now try this, if it works then you'll end-up with the checklist. I suggest you print both pages, glue them back to back and then fold in half lengthwise; it will give the consistency of a card.
  14. I got the checklist in a pdf file, but I don't know how to attach it to the post in this forum. Assitance required...
  15. @ CoolIP: Thank you. I resolved the problem of battery ON by loading the Dodo Bell 206 first (always C&D), then the BT67 is also C&D... perfect; Now the battery switch actually turns everything OFF and back ON as it should. I also managed to change the loading by using left or right mouse-click and then selecting it with centre-click. One questiion though, the new loading is as set for the duration of the flight, but when I re-start FSX and re-load the BT67 it is back to default - overloaded and hence requires reseting the weights. Is there a way to set the default with the NORMAL template? I am very impressed by the quality and functionality, but best of all, the knowledgeable and polite support... very rarely found in payware nowadays. Thank you a million.
  16. @ CoolIP: OK, I tried to select "empty", but while I can choose the option, it doesn't seem to stick. I tried enter, right-click and a few other methods without success. One of my aims is to start C&D but the problem of the battery switch set to OFF and lights remaining, still puzzles me. I'm beginning to suspect my Saitek setup again, as non of my flying colleagues seem to have this issue.
  17. Hi, Thank you for answering. I have been tinkering with all sorts of things. I got the engines started (not using Ctrl+E) and although not sure, I think it was my settings on the Saitek Q1 and Q2. Now, the problem with the annunciator panel, as well as the radios remaining on, still there. Shift+3 brings the control pannel and it show that with all switches off, the battery continues to drain. In short, I'm unable to set it to Cold and Dark state.
  18. Hi, I need help. I love this aircraft; everything works and flies very well. I tried it as shared cockpit and works very well indeed, but... First, although the BAT switch is off, the annunciator panel is ON. Once is in flight and all procedures have completed, warning lights extinguish themselves. Secondly, unless I use Ctrl+E, I cannot start the engines. I'm using Vista64 with loads of memory and Saitek gear with simconnect (all switches correspond - great!). Every other airplane or heli works as per the label in the tin, except the BT67 at start-up. Your help is very much appreciated.
  19. Hi, There is a problem with the "VFR Flight Plan Editor" on some 64 bit systems. The solution to the problem is to modify that file, which can be found in VoxATC website; www.voxatc.net/VFRFPE.zip. I just did it and it works fine now. Unzip it and put the file it contains "VFRFlightplanEditor.exe" into your VoxATC X programs folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Internal Workings\VoxATC X). Overwrite the existing file. Thanks VoxATC. As always, great support.
  20. Hi, If the PTT button assignment does not work, I suggest you try this. I had this problem and found that if the button requested by VoxATC is already assigned in another application (Teamspeak being my case), it recognises the button but will not memorise it, but choosing another button (Saitek) it works fine; the assignment stick. If the button is disabled in the other application, then it will stick in VoxATC. Cycled several times, enabling, disabling and assigning. It seems to have resolved the issue.
  21. Hi, Thank you. Sent you a PM....
  22. Could you please point me to that thread? Thank you.
  23. Hi, Some time ago I installed v6.05 as an upgrade from the previous version. I don't recall but presume that I un-installed everything, including UK Enhancements. To the best of my recollection, all worked ok, meaning the voice training and all of that when one first installs. Have not use the application for some time and when I fired it again, notice the ATC sort of repeating words and instructions, like a bad record. I then decided to train the voice recognition by attempting to run the "VFR Flight Editor". A message appeared requesting the installation disc to install the application; note here that the v6.05 is a download and the disc is an earlier version, maybe a v5.xx, which includes UK Enhancenments. Needless to say the installation failed. Through the Windows Control Panel, un-installed UK Enhancenments, cleaned the registry (CC) and re-booted. Re-installed UK Enhancenments, apparently ok. But when attempting to run "VFR Flight Editor", a message says "VFRFlightplanEditor.exe has stooped working" and it only gives me the opportunity to "Close program". VoxATC has always worked for me with perhaps a few, non-serious hic-ups. I fail to understand the problem. I don't want to un-install for the sake of it; I rather understand the problem and apply the correct solution. Is there a new version of UK Enhancenments to go with v6.05? Any help will be very much appreciated.
  24. Download the correct files here: http://www.kegetys.net/dl.php/d3d_antilag101.zip It is a stright forward process, but read the instructions! It works 100% with Vista/7 x64.Good luck.

Carenado has more or less said what "dscalora" has written above. So, back to flying by the seat of my pants...
