AP is on, HDG is on, ALT is on...However it doesnt make a difference if this is off, because I have tried it. I dont have that problem if I approach Munich EDDM and set the nav frequency to 110.90. It works. For other airports it doesnt. Kind regardsStefan

Hi,That

Could someone please post a little basic instruction for setting up the APR mode correctly. Thats probably easier in order to understand whats wrong Thanks in advance.
The steps are in the Pilot's tutorial page 88-89, but basically what you do is:1) Tune the ILS frequency in NAV1 (and NAV2 if you want) on the RMU and make the frequency active.2) Set the inbound course by pressing V/L once and turning the CRS knob.3) Press the APR button to arm the approach mode as you begin your turn onto the extended runway centerline. It should show "ARM" in yellow, followed by "CAP" in green when it captures the localizer. You can verify that you have tuned the right frequency by right-clicking the NAV1 button on the Audio Control Panel on the left side of the panel (below the clock) and listening for the morse code. The ILS identifier should also show on the DME unit (to the left of the HSI).
