AI for 9Dragons KaiTak and VHHH

Featured Replies

Hi allI have just installed 9 Dragons KaiTak for FS9. Its absolutley brilliant. Well done to the team that put this together :( Just managed to get WOAI flying into and out of VHHX and all seems well. My only concern is with the amount of aircraft from Cathy Pacific and other local based airlines. My thoughts on this initially were to turn down the % Traffic within FS but if I were to do that, then I suppose this would affect all AI traffic overall :( My second thoughts were to go through the flight plan of say, Cathy Pacific as it seems to swamp VHHX and make every other flight put into VHHH.The only problem I have in doing this is the understanding of the flight plan code for any given airline. If I decompiled the flight plan with TT, would it work if I went through the flight plan of Cathy Pacific and reverted every other flight back to VHHH :( I would also appreciate any help with the coding of the flight plans so I can see were one flight starts and finishes. This would help me loads.Obviously with the above my intension is to reinstate VHHH so I have both Hong Kong Airports in use once I have gone through everything and installed VHHH from Avsim. Could I also ask if anyone has Fedex WOAI that they could pass on. Be much appreciated. Many thanksTerry.S

The instruction manual for 9Dragons Kai Tak provides a very detailed description telling how to change traffic from the default to VHHX.It is possible to run the old Kai Tak and the new one (by Thomas Kwong) but that requires a few changes. There is a detailed post here explaining how that is done: http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtop...031&hl=VHHHAs far as the flightplans go, once you have the desired airline packages installed, it is a simple matter of decompiling the flightplan and using the find and replace option (Notepad) on the flightplans.txt file. You can change all flights so they go to VHHX or just some of them - your choice.I also have the FedEx (summer 05) package and can send it if you will PM me with your e-mail address.

In the coding where does the flight start and end ?? I am just guessing but I have put in bold what I think may be one flight from VOMM to VHHX. Is this right ?
