September 19, 200916 yr Good Evening allI have a problem with the Low Pressure switch light showing shut when the switch indicator states open. I've had issues with the engines shutting down and noticed this. Perhaps my error somewhere. Many thanksLaurie Burgess
September 19, 200916 yr Laurie,Perhaps you could elaborate on your shutdown issues. What are you seeing? September 20, 200916 yr Good morning KenI had finally mastered the engine start procedure following the tutorial and practice. At the time, the left engine was running. For some reason the engine shut down. No doubt my fault. However, while I was waiting for the engine temp to drop I wanted to start #2. Thats when I noticed the switches showing open highlighted by the mouse, but the light showing shut. Perhaps this is a normal function. I will try again today just keep practing with the start procedures.many thanks Laurie Burgess
September 20, 200916 yr Hi Laurie, you have to turn on L STBY PUMP and R STBY PUMP the switches on either side of the XFEED switch.Hope that helps! Rick Butler Rainbow Lake Alberta, Canada
September 20, 200916 yr Hi RickThanks for the replyTook this little bird for a fly from EGPH to EGBB. No FMS as there is a bug with the flight plan so I used the GPS. Anyway, started and ran OK so as I assumed, it was me. The Shut off lights automatically extinguish after start, so my misunderstanding there. Landed fine, however I couldn't get the spoilers to retract, and in spooling up caused engine fires. Lot of fun and a lot of work load. Great job by the PMDG guys. Back to the manuals for me.LozLaurie Burgess
