September 21, 200916 yr I'm thinking about purchasing UT Canada/Alaska and have a ton of scenery in both areas. We're talking at least 200 - 250 freeware/payware sceneries. Now I'm sure someone is going to tell me to start hitting the manuals, but instead of doing that right away, I'd thought I'd beg the group's indulgence and ask a few questions here and first. I'm wondering if it's going to be trouble. If it is going to be trouble, what do I have to look forward to? And finally, if it is worth the trouble. Flame, reply, no answer..it's your choice. But I take my simming rather seriously and am still trying to get my wife to wear a stewardess uniform when bringing me my in-flight meals...Mark
September 21, 200916 yr Well it really depends what type of scenery you have installed. If its mesh, you're good...airports, you're probably good to go....landclass, UT has it's own landclass if you choose to use it...the only place it will interfere is if you have scenery installed like Portland, etc...where a whole area is an add-on. Besides that...yes, UT is worth all the headaches in the world as it will transform the way you fly.Good luck - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
