September 21, 200916 yr Hi Guys - Iv just bought the J41, and before i fly, im reading through the docs.In the installation folder, there is a .pdf called Pilot Intro and Overview. Im reading page 11, about VC head latency. Can someone please let me know what that is? Is that the effect when the plane accelerates, the VC moves away, and comes closer when slowing down? Is that the effect when the plane accelerates, the VC moves away, and comes closer when slowing down? That, and all the other "head bobbing" that occurs in the FSX VCs. Drifting of the eyepoint while banking/turning, bouncing around in turbulence making it difficult to hit a switch without "losing focus" etc... September 21, 200916 yr Author Sweet! I was researching how to turn that off for ages but gave up! ... bouncing around in turbulence making it difficult to hit a switch without "losing focus" etc...But will that also completely disable turbulance effects? Adrian Burley London, UK
September 21, 200916 yr Commercial Member Sweet! I was researching how to turn that off for ages but gave up!But will that also completely disable turbulance effects? It won't disable turbulence effects on the aircraft, but yes, your "head" won't bounce around anymore in turbulence relative to the VC....This isn't any kind of required tweak. It's a preference, so I would suggest you back up that data somewhere before editting it, and simply replace it from your backup later if you decide you like the head bobbing better.
