June 18, 200322 yr It used to be that when I cycled through the cockpit views in FS2002 (using the "S" key), the first tap of the key would give me a few gauges across the bottom of the window. The second tap would give me a wide open screen, etc. It was nice to fly with this view, as the panel was out of the way, but at least some key instruments were showing.Well, something happened, and now, when I cycle the views, I go from the panel view to wide screen... no more abbreviated set of instruments.Does anybody know how to re-activate this view?
June 18, 200322 yr Well, it's obvious I can't type!I meant the "W" key... sorry. I go from panel to wide without the abbreviated gauges.
June 18, 200322 yr Ah, sorry Tom, don't know then... maybe somebody else?http://members.rogers.com/gmoffatt/images/ERJ_CRT.jpg
June 18, 200322 yr You need minicontrols.gau and minipanel.cab in your gauges folder. Some gauge cleaners move or remove them. They are on CD1 if you have accidentally erased them. You also need the aircraftdefaultpanelpanel.cfg file. Some people delete this thinking they're saving disk space.Unless you've reprogrammed the W key that should do it.
June 18, 200322 yr Webbpa. That was the problem! I must have inadvertently deleted the aircraftdefault folder and it's contents. Now that everything is restored, it's working just fine. Thanks very much for the help!Tom
