September 24, 200916 yr Using ASA and FS9. I start ASA then the sim. It takes a bit but the weather loads. If I exit the sim and restart and leave ASA running, I cannot get any weather from ASA even if I use the reload button. I need to exit ASA then restart. Is there a way to correct this?Michael
September 25, 200916 yr Hi,Are you using B433?Thanks,This happened to me when using B433 and still happens now using B435. I just close and re-start ASA. This is more of a pain in FS9 as ASA takes much longer to start than in FSX. (The "parsing line items" stage is much quicker in FSX.)Overall, this is not a big deal to me.Iain Smith
September 25, 200916 yr I am using the latest SP. I can check the version number later.Michael Hi,Are you using B433?Thanks,
September 29, 200916 yr Hi,With B433 we did do considerable work in this area.Is this a network install or single computer install? Thanks,
October 5, 200916 yr I found the box "lock to aircraft location" unchecked. When I check the box, it appears to work. However, every time I begin ASA, the box is unchecked. How do I get this to stay?
October 5, 200916 yr Hi,With the Lock box checked On close down ASA and when you start again it should remain checked. I don't think it is a setting that is saved in the .cfg files, but internally in ASA.Thanks,
October 28, 200916 yr The box for lock to FS location continues to be unchecked every time I start up ASA. Tried what you said. Anything else I can do?Michael
October 28, 200916 yr Hi,I don't have any ideas and you are the only user to report this. I can still close down ASA and however that box is left is how it starts again. Are you using XP or Vista? Thanks,
