I know this has been asked probably before.I just purchased FSGenesis scenery bundle that includes all they have and all I can say is wow. My question is if I just use this why would I need UTX, GEX or the like? I know REX is mostly for the sky and airport textures so I know that is different, but what do UTX and GEX offer on top of FSGenesis?bha19

Unless something has changed for the FSX version of FS Genesis, it has been my understanding that it is mesh (land elevations) and nothing more. UTX provides more accurate coastlines, water features, roads (with traffic), urban landclass, 3D night lighting, etc. and a utility to turn any of the features on or off. GEX provides enhanced landclass textures.
