I have 2 questions on ground vehicles.1) Is there a way to get the luggage conveyor truck to stop and or stop raising the ramp? Half of the time or more the ramp winds up in the middle of the plane and is vertical and do the regional jets use a luggage conveyor.2) When I ask for pushback is there a way to turn the plane while being pushed back?bha19

I know this has been asked probably before.I just purchased FSGenesis scenery bundle that includes all they have and all I can say is wow. My question is if I just use this why would I need UTX, GEX or the like? I know REX is mostly for the sky and airport textures so I know that is different, but what do UTX and GEX offer on top of FSGenesis?bha19

I tried to run the exe. for the sound and when it installed it say it could not find the fs2002 folder and I did not have the f28 installed so it aborted the install. Any fixes for this.bha19

I use Kaspersky Internet Security 9.0.0.463 so I don't know if this is the problem. When I go to "MY Assistant" and try to view my last 10 posts, I get a blank page. It does says done at the bottom of the Page so I know it has loaded. How do I correct this?bha19

I just downloaded the f28 and panel and sound from project fokker and have 2 questions, knowing that these are not really fsx aircraft.1) how do I get sound? I have unzipped the added sounds and tried them in both the sound folder and the sound folder of my f28 but get nothing and the sound.cfg is only 2 lines of text.2) is there a panel that works with fsx? I get a bunch of pop-ups that say this gauge or that gauge is not made for fsx and will not work.I can still fly the plane with no sound but this is no fun.bha19

I have exactly what you have and still no luck. I have auto thumbnail in my program files. My C: drive is actually labeled winvista (c:) but I dont think that makes a difference in the .exe does it? Also just to be safe I copied and pasted you text which looked just like mine but on fewer line to see if that was the trouble, but that did not fix it.bha19

No luck I tried a fresh install with and without UAC but it still will not load. I do have a exe file with exactly what is stated I need in my appdata>roaming>microsoft>fsx directory. By the way I am using fsx deluxe sp2bha19

The only menu options I have areflights aircraft world options views helpI have no tools or addons.I know when I installed the program I got the security warning and clicked yes. Now that you mention it I did not get a dos screen to minimize Could it be my Microsoft net framework is different. I have version 3.5 sp1 that came with vista.bha19

Thanks I had a different file, exactly the same airlines though, with the correct aircraft.cfg airline codes, but it seems the text was formatted differently so I used the code from here and it worked.bha19

When does auto thumbnail take a snapshot and add it to the aircraft directory. I do have it installed correctly but wnat to know how to make it work.bha19

I am running vista home premium and the only standard.xml file is in C:Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight SimulatorWhere do find this file in vista. Never mind I think I found it.bha19

I am not sure where I got it but it is FSX USA Textures Package for CRJ-700. American Eagle, Continental Express (Chatauqua Airlines), Delta Connection (American Southeast), Horizon and United Express (Skywest) textures for the default Bombardier CRJ-700. By George Hutton.bha19

I found a repaint of the crj700 but it did not have a model. It had several .dds files, a texture config file and a thumbnail. It also had a readme with instructions on editing the aircraft.cfg file which I did cut and paste the test. My problem is that the aircraft still does not show up when I start FSX. What am I doing wrong.bha19

This might be a dumb question, but let's just say i want to fly around and land at any airport I see, after I land is there a way to tell which airport I just landed at in FSX. For example say I take off at Buffalo and fly along Lake Erie and suddenly I see an airport and decide to land how do I know which airport I just landed at since I did unplanned free flight (I guess that is what you call it).bha19

Some of the aircraft I downloaded ask for permission to use them when I try to fly in FSX. I even tried to run the FSX program as an administrator. I can click yes to the prompt but it asks me again. If I hit no enough times the plane will land. Is there a way to run aircraft in administrator mode so I don't keep getting a pop up message. ON plane is a Beechcraft 1900d from USAIR for example.bha19

That fix the problem, I deleted the folders of the planes that did not have a thumbnail, which was 3 planes, and all is well. Thanks for all your help.

I just started using FSX under Vista home premium-64 but not for more than 5 minutes a couple of times. When I first start the game it tells me color sheme has been set to Vista basic mode. Finally when I exit it says something like display driver has failed and has recovered. Do you think if I run the game in XP2 mode this might correct the problem or is ther another solution

I did not mean to imply that I installed in the wrong folder, what I meant to imply was that I figured out what I was doing after I made the other post. Thanks for all your guys help.bha19

I have several planes I downloaded and added to my airplanes folder. The problem is that now when I start FSX and do a free flight a nd choose an aircraft the picture does not match the plane description. Any idea which plane might cause this problem?bha19
