September 15, 200916 yr This might be a dumb question, but let's just say i want to fly around and land at any airport I see, after I land is there a way to tell which airport I just landed at in FSX. For example say I take off at Buffalo and fly along Lake Erie and suddenly I see an airport and decide to land how do I know which airport I just landed at since I did unplanned free flight (I guess that is what you call it).bha19

I press control + Shift + U<Entry><Key>CTRL+SHIFT+U</Key><Down>TOGGLE_AIRPORT_NAME_DISPLAY</Down></Entry>Make a copy first.. :-)I just tried that idea but it does nothing on my setup - if the name displays (and I could not see it) where should I be looking ?Hope I just missed a step - using XP by the way so it was not a permissions issue when adding that data to my starndard.xml file (used notepad to make the edit)
September 15, 200916 yr Hi Folksre: Displaying airport namesYou must use a key combination that's unassigned.CTRL+SHIFT+U is already assigned to AUTORUDDER_TOGGLEIn AccelerationSHIFT+U is already assigned to TOGGLE_LAUNCH_BAR_SWITCH.The official assignation is CTRL+SHIFT+PPlease see FSDeveloper - Wiki - Key Mapping (FSXA)and further combos at - FSDeveloper - Wiki - Key Mapping (FSX)HTHATBPaul ODG Preview
