Aerosoft Mega Frankfurt and Vista Ultimate 64bits

Featured Replies

Hey guys,Over the wkend i started to install some my payware sceneries on vista 64bits and so far things were going great. However when i did try to install aerosoft mega frankfurt, it just didnt go through. It kept on saying '' x64 driver error, did u forget to reboot??'' I've already rebooted a few times and nothing. I've got fs2004 installed on a 2nd hardrive. I decided to use a 64bit o/s as i noticed fs2004 was more stable than my xp 32bits.So guys, any help on that please. thnxs

Are you running as admin? Also, you may need to create a shortcut to the Aerosoft installer file with a property set for the installer to run as admin. Any program such as FS that is in anywhere in or down from a "Program Files" folder requires admin privileges to install in any folder down from that.Try that and see.You can also go to Aerosoft.com, click on FAQs/Updates. and register the product with your key (CD or e-mailed) for the product. It will take you to the FAQs which also contain links to any updates required. On the main page you will also find a link to their support forums and a scenery subforum under that.

thnxs for your reply. I dont have fs2004 installed in program files as i was told that the program files x86 is some sort of emulator for 32bits apps on 64bits o/s. i've got in its own directory d:/fs2004 and i'm running vista as the administrator using the tweak i found on youtube i.e open command prompt, type in net user Administrator /active:yes and from the startup sreen, i use the admin profile to log in all the time. I dont have any probs so far regarding other addons; flight1 gepro, flight environment, etc...i tried to use the compatibility xp in the properties but still no success. BTW i bought the scenery on the cd and not as a download.I will try again some time later and see if it works. I will also try to seek help on their forum later.
