What do you mean what version?

Is the 64 and 32 bit on the same disk or is the 64 version on either the home premium, professional or ultimate version

I believe they're separate disks or at least I did not come across an install DVD that contains both 32 and 64bit versions. If your hardware is capable of running 64bit, I'd go for that, even if your RAM is below 4Gb. There's always room for expansion.
