September 30, 200916 yr I decided to jump in last week and got the PMDG MD-11- and it's a very wonderful plane which is great for long haul operations, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for decent short/medium range turboprop / turbojet(fan) planes that might simulate complex systems.. PMDG just released the JS4100 but unfortunately I'm not a large fan of 3D only aircraft (I like my old school 2d panels).I've been looking at either the PC-12 or an ATR.. anyone have any thoughts on those?
September 30, 200916 yr The Flight1 ATR72-500 is nice. The Digital Aviation Fokker70/100 is also a very good buy.
September 30, 200916 yr Wilco/Feelthere E-Jets are a nice add-on for short/medium flights. Another quality consideration is the CoolSky Super 8 Pro. Be advised, however, that it can have quirky OOM issues on machines (namely mine). Hope this helps.Chris
September 30, 200916 yr Patience... there is a new ERJ in beta testing as we speak...http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=2400
September 30, 200916 yr Cooksky MD80 pro or classic. THe pro has a FMC where as the classic does not. It uses the Omni Navigation system. Jim Wenham
