I first do an init reference. I then create a plan or import a plan that only contains the transition points of the SID or STAR. I then go to the DEP/ARR page 1. You should see two three columns in each airport row. Click on the left LSK for the DEP list or right for the ARR list.On the left you will see a list of SIDs (DPs) or STARS depending whether you selected the departure or arrival airport. On the right you will have a list of runways plus a list of IAPs for the arrival airport. You scroll through the lists with PREV and NEXT. Key the ones you need, then ACTIVATE and EXE. You may get DISCOntinuity warnings. Go to the LEGS page and close them up as needed. If you don't see any go to your PMDG folder under FS9 and then the SIDSTARS folder under it there should be a number of .txt files with the airport names. These are the coded SID-STAR procedures for each airport. If they are missing you can get current ones from:http://planepath.com/html/pmdg.html for US, UK, and a couple of other regions. You can get updated plans for 65 major US airports from either the AVSIM or flightsom.com file libraries. Search for author ddowns or dan downs in the AI flightplans sections. As to where the original ones are I'm not sure. I used the CD versions, not the downloads. There is also the PMDG forum here on AVSIM and for troubleshooting also the http://precisionmanuals.com/ site then the OPS wiki with FAQs, etc.

You may want to check the following tutorials1. Timothy M. Metzinger's PMDG Tutorial. By far this is the most complete tutorial for PMDG 737 out there, just look for the megaupload link (Look for the post by G7USL) and download it. You wont need anything else with this one 2.

. Great video3. Virtual Southwest FMC TutorialHope this helps thank you.Thank You Juanwise
