"Propellar" axis...programming it

Featured Replies

I just got a set of Saitek's yoke and quadrant and am slowly programming them through FSUIPC. I have an oddity and don't know if it's through my programming or the way the axis is done. When I set the levers I have mapped to "propeller axis" to 100%, the condition levers move to flight. I then move them to about 70% and get condition levers at taxi (as I'd expect). If I open up the feather switch, I can then feather the propellars by moving them back to about 25%. The oddity happens if I move them much further back (i.e. 0% where I'd expect the feather spot to actually be), the conditions levers pop back to flight.I'm still working out the bugs programming these, but was wondering if anyone had anythings as to what might be going on here and how I can fix it. I also had an odd issue where I had the flap detents programmed and working perfectly on the ground, but then in the air moving the lever to the first detent extended the flaps all the way (I assume I switched some "mode" lever or something, but am not sure). Thanks for any help.Eric Szczesniak
