Mirage FMC

I have Mirage FMC installed on 2 a/c, all correct...don't worry about the installation process, I think I have that sorted. I can't put in anything in the FMC. For eg, start at KJFK: For the route page I try to place KJFK into DEP AIRPORT and ARR AIRPORT some other airport it just doesn't let me put anything into it. Not only that, I can't place anything! It just says "INVALID INPUT" when if it were some other FMC it would've been fine. And no. I don't wanna try vasFMC. So don't try to get me to try it...Cheers, please help. It's for Eric Cantu's EMB120 and a downloadable panel that's really really good!And I think it is the default Lear45 "FMS_TYPE1.spc" that is in readme. I can't seem to edit it for the EMB120. Will this make a difference?
