October 7, 200916 yr I have two questions concerning the 777 I have and really like. Because of past problem with AVSIM, the download for other liveries is not available 1. How do you control the cabin lights? 2. When switching to the VC, the position of view is too close to the panel. Have to use "-" key couple of times. How can this be made default?ThanksWilbert Wilbert
October 8, 200916 yr Hi Wilbert,Some liveries links still broken but there are 2 or 3 repaints available with good links too; eg. Air France, Alitalia, Conti and AA.If you still have trouble downloading those liveries, i can send them to you by email.Do you mean Pax cab light ? if so, i have no pax cab light switch either and i'm afraid that there is no option for that.About the VC, this is like other addons or default FS Aircraft, the FIRST time you're switching to the VC, you're very close...you have to "unzoom", find your correct seat position, up/down seat settings and after that each time your switching to VC, back&forth, your correct position should be "there"...That's the way it is in my Sim.You always could send an email to the Aerosim support.Enjoy your 772Cheers, Yves ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Good judgement comes from experience. October 9, 200916 yr Author Thanks for responding.I do know that the A/c pax cabin lights come on depending on the time of day thingy. Perhaps it is already configured in the A/c mdl file or something like that.* I have the liveries already installed that you mentioned but the other livers that are listed on Avsim are not available when accessed.* One other thing I thought about - Are these true FSX A/C's, built from scratch for FSX or just converted A/C from FS9?* There does not seem to be much activity in this forum. I think they are nice aircraft without the intense involvement thats associated with other real serious aircraft. Thanks againWilbert Wilbert
October 11, 200916 yr The 777 is a true FSX aircraft, for all I know - it's a FSX specific package. The aircraft from before that, which includes the propliner collection and classic jetliners packages are FS2004 only, though, and since they are relatively simple aircraft, they might turn out to work very well in FSX, but it's not supported. Nevertheless, I should try it out some day. October 12, 200916 yr Hi Guys,I agree with you Thralni, the 772 FSX is far to be perfect but he's a very good compromise between some other 777, OK no FMC but for now i don't care, the available liveries are very nice, the plane itself is very good looking and above all he's bug FREE and the LNAV/VNAV are working just perfect.I used the Wilco 777 which is a m..s...I'm dreaming of a 777 of the L..-D/P..G caliber..., maybe one day, who's know...Next in line the 744 FSX which are very good looking too, have a look on their website.Enjoy you 772.Cheers, Yves ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Good judgement comes from experience. October 12, 200916 yr Hi guys,Agree with Thralni, this 772 is far to be perfect but he's a good compromise compare to others 777 available on the market.OK no FMC but i don't care for now, the available liveries are nice and this plane is very good looking, also he's BUG FREE and the LNAV/VNAV are working just perfect. I used the Wilco 777 but to me is a m..s...I'm dreaming of a 777 of L..-D/P..G caliber, maybe one day, who's know...Next in line the 744 FSX which is looking just great, have a look on the Aerosim Website.Enjoy your 772.Cheers, Yves ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Good judgement comes from experience. This 772 is far to be perfect, no complex systems, no FMC, Ok Ok, (i don't care about that for now) BUT and on the other hand, the available liveries are nice, some are amazing, he's very good looking and this bird is BUG FREE, also the LNAV/VNAV are working just fine. Next in line the 744 FSX, (have a look at their website).I'm dreaming of a 777 of the L..-D or P..G caliber, maybe one day, who's know...Enjoy your 772.Cheers, Yves ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Good judgement comes from experience. October 17, 200916 yr Yes! That 747 looks damn gorgeous! I have been looking at it some days ago, when I wondered how far the 747 project ahd come along. That detail in the VC is just amazing, let alone the great exterior model. That plane sure is looking great, best model I have seen from Aerosim to date. I now hope they give us moderate system simulation; not as simple as the default one, but not as complex as the PMDG one. There are currently no 747s that are in the middle, which is a pity. January 24, 201016 yr Author After looking at the 747, I am impressed and would buy it except for the fact there are no liveries - same as with the B772. I know the cost of these projects would probably be more with liveries but I would not have a problem paying more if this is something that I really want. "No Liveries" is the reason I will not buy anymore of these aircraft.wb2002ASUS P5Q SE PLUS/Thermaltake W0106 700W PSUIntel E8500 - 3.10 OC TO 3.80Vista Ultimate 64 SP2/CORSAIR XMS2 DHX 4GB (2 x 2GB)2x150GB SATA WD Raptor- No Raid/2x320GB SATA WD SE16- No Raid2x IDE Light-On DVDRW 165H65/EVGA GTX285 2m3x SILENX 120X25MM FANS + 2x 10in XCLIO Wind Tunnel Case FansDanger Den Water Cooling/Enermax temp/fan controllerFSX ACC@ 1600/1200 |UTX/ASX/FEX/MTX/ASA/REX/UT2/FsPsgrsX/DBS W & F/PMDG 747/3D shockwave/USA & World Extreme Landscape Wilbert
