In the end, we will all have to draw our own conclusion as to the reason/cause of this tragedy. Somewhere in a room, NTSB, FAA, Owners, and lawyers are making decisions. It will be interesting to find out what they eventually provide us with what they will call the facts - just as they have done so many times before with A/C accident investigations.

Installed latest driver but believe earlier driver was better. Who is still using a GTX 580 and what appears to be best driver for this card? Thanks

Has anyone been able to install moving jetways on Blueprint's New KIAH scenery. I have the scenery but prefer the default because of the jetway problem with Blueprint's scenery. I understand it is possible by using ADE9 program. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't know what happened but could see hurricane results before now but could not observe no bad conditions, looking from outside A/C, around where Issac is reported located. I observed several intense rain pockets on program's radar however, clouds were not there when looking out of A/C. Could not detect any circulation center. Is this due to reporting stations being down?

Have noticed lately video is becoming jerky (AI objects and vehicle traffic). They move smoothly about a second, stop and then start moving smoothly, and repeat process). I am sure there is another description for what I am trying to describe. What fsx.cfg or video setting affects this? Thanks

All the responses to this post have been helpful to subject of post. As we live and learn we will come to unstanding many things that we do not know now. One aspect of FSX is that it offers so many things to so many people. I remember in past times, there were some that never understood why wing views were of interest to anyone but now it is offered on many quality A/C.Thanks anyway . . . . .

Thanks for all suggestions. I've been flightsimming on the pc before probably many of you were born (even before subLogic days). I remember purchasing the first 737 Ariane Design 737 - it was a nice looking A/C however, I had so much trouble installing/reinstalling that I don't remember ever flying it. I also remember it was rather expensive at the time with ongoing expense for updates. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth with them. Over the years, I have read so many posts concerning dealings with Ariane Design but if the A/C looks like I want, I may take the plunge. I will check the suggestions out.

Thanks for responding. I am in no way attempting to compare the 2 products - enough of that has already been done. As you mentioned, I am an "eye candy" individual. I want to try and replicate my experiences as a passenger because I have never flow a 737, 747, 767, 777 and etc, and do not ever intent to. I do appreciate what Captain Sim has done with their A/C - decent systems plus eye candy cabins. I just enjoy the total airport and flying environment.

Does the PMDG or iFly 737 for FSX have virtual cabin views that that can show wing, seat, overhead compartments views and etc?

Guys, I thought there was an AA problem with the new drivers but discovered the problem was with the inspector. For some reason, the inspector was not exporting all the configs I made to FSX and when I start FSX, the config was not all correct. I do not know why this happened. Maybe I am not doing something right when working with the inspector. I thought you first select ms flightsim X, make modifications and then export to " *".nip file in a default "Document" folder. When FSX is started, inspector would check this file and configure the the video accoring to the imported "*".nip configuration. Someone please correct me about this.

Are you using "nVidiaInspector"? I tried but AA not good.

I have 2 nice LCD monitors both setup for 1920x1080. I have tried once to use both on the same EVGA GTX580 card and experienced a significant frame reduction and decided that this would not work. Perhaps I did not investigate or correctly set it up. I think I will spend some more time experimenting.Yhanks

I am also interested in using 2 monitors and don't want to run FSX in windowed mode. I thought that running more than 1 monitor would result in a high FPS hit. I tried it once and experienced this and decided that this was unacceptable and went back to single monitor. My question is are you experiencing reduced performance of FSX by running 2 monitors and if not, how did you succeed with doing so?Thanks

Why would a senery developer produce scenery without moving jetways - is it too difficult or what exactly is it? I seriously do not believe it has nothing or little to do with FPS. Airport scenery without jetways is a step backwards when default already has it. Somebody please enlighten me.

That option is built into the new nVidia Inspector. All you have to do is select the FPS.

If I may jump in and also mention - As I understand, FSX does not take advantage of HT but there may be other program addons for FSX that do. It depends on what other addons you may have running along with FSX.
