March 13, 201214 yr Hi GuysI've just recieved an email from Nvidia informing me that the 296.1 driver is out.Anyone tried it yet? I'm a bit hesitent as i had problems with the previous one's.Cheers Chris Howard
March 13, 201214 yr I am downloading now. I'll let you know. I've been using the last set 295.73 without any trouble. PC's, are strange things sometimes.Glen
March 13, 201214 yr Author Haha tell me about it!I've just finished re-formating and re-installing everything so i'm a bit reluctant at the minute as all is perfect.Fingers crossed and thanks for letting us know.Cheers Chris Howard
March 13, 201214 yr Quick test. Performance, very similar to 295.73 Whql. Need more testing...let you know.Best.Miquel.
March 13, 201214 yr Quick test also, Agree with Miquel. Seems good so far. Performace and IQ seem to be fine.
March 14, 201214 yr Quick test also, Agree with Miquel. Seems good so far. Performace and IQ seem to be fine. Are you using "nVidiaInspector"? I tried but AA not good. Wilbert
March 14, 201214 yr Yes I use NVIspector and AA is working fine for me. The only thing I can't got to work is the Frame Rate Limiter.
March 14, 201214 yr Downloaded last night and flew for about an hour. No noticeable different and my Frame Limiter worked as normal. I do use NI.Regards, Danny
March 14, 201214 yr Danny, I'm talking about the frame limiter built into ni not the external one. Which one are you using.
March 14, 201214 yr New drivers work great for me too including AA. My graphics have never ever been better but I seriously doubt it's the new drivers. I'm using NV Inspector using settings recommended by NickN. The only thing I can't got to work is the Frame Rate Limiter. You might want to look at the following topic from NickN where he posts his recommended settings for the NV Inspector and especially note his note at the bottom where he does not recommend the use of the frame rate limiter - http://www.simforums.com/forums/settings-for-new-drivers-updated-v1959_topic36586.html.Best regards,Jim
March 14, 201214 yr Guys, I thought there was an AA problem with the new drivers but discovered the problem was with the inspector. For some reason, the inspector was not exporting all the configs I made to FSX and when I start FSX, the config was not all correct. I do not know why this happened. Maybe I am not doing something right when working with the inspector. I thought you first select ms flightsim X, make modifications and then export to " *".nip file in a default "Document" folder. When FSX is started, inspector would check this file and configure the the video accoring to the imported "*".nip configuration. Someone please correct me about this. Wilbert

You select FSX profiles, set your stuff, apply, done.
