  1. Back on, but lost most of my settings and configuration. Very unhappy.......
  2. Copy the Profiles and FSUIPC4.ini folders and any MCRO files that are in the modules folder. That should preserve your stuff. Regards, Danny
  3. Never mind, just uninstalled it, and, moving on. Danny
  4. Oops. Didn't see the support request format. So: 1. I am using Windows 10 2. I am using P3DV3.1 3. I am using a 980Ti video card, 6Gig Any assistance would be appreciated. Danny
  5. Started using SweetFX today with P3DV3.1. SweetFX causes P3D to stop working when I attempt to change aircraft. It also appears to have a conflict with Precision X. Anyone having or had these issues and have a solution? Great program, but, if I can't get it to work with P3DV3.1 in a stable manner, I'll have to remove it. Regards, Danny
  6. I would like to be able to control the functions of the gps, such as: Say: Direct to;; the direct to window opens Then by voice enter an airport icao: KOLM, or facility name and city. Then activate the direct to by saying "activate". Bascially, control the gps functions by voice command. Regards, Danny
  7. Dave: Thanks for the reply. I have downloaded MCE and have been using it. It works very well for voice input to the coms and navs. However, I have not been able to get it to provide voice direct input to the gps, particularly, when trying to input airport icao information in for a specific airport. I looked through the provided flows and command files and was not able to find gps specific information. I did find FMC commands, however, that is not what I need in that I am flying GA aircraft and using a standard gps (500, 530, etc.). Do you by chance have a set of commands or know where I could get a set of commands for a GA gps? Regards, Danny
  8. I am looking for a voice command program in preparation for moving to Oculus Rift. I fly primarily helicopter and GA aircraft. I need a program that will allow voice control of the radios, navs, cockpit switches and knobs, and, the GPS. From reviewing the MCE website and the information on this forum it appears that MCE doesn't support helicopters and GA very much, particularly, when asking the Co-pilot to fly the aircraft. Using the Co-pilot to fly is of no interest to me, so, no problem. However, as stated above, I do need voice control over the cockpit functions. Does MCE provide control over helicopter and GA cockpit functions to include the GPS? Any experiences and comments concerning use of MCE with helicopters and GA is appreciated. Regards, Danny
  9. I use OPUS FSI over a network. I haven't seen a difference from running it over the network vs on the flight sim computer. I run it over a network to allow display of the various weather maps on a second monitor, separate from the flight sim system. Regards, Danny
  10. I use Vpilot with P3dV3 with no issues. I am using Windows 10.
  11. I have the A2A Cub and C182 which fly ok in P3dV3. The controls are smooth and responsive. I do use FSUIPC to manage all of the control inputs.
  12. I understand your issue. For my system the settings that have the most negative effect on FPS are cloud draw distance and vehicle traffic. Vehicle traffic has the most negative effect of the two. For example, when flying in/around Seattle with vehicle traffic at 10 to 15% my FPS is around 15. If I turn vehicle traffic off my FPS goes to 22 to 25. I suggest you might try turning vehicle traffic off. Regards, Danny
  13. I only have a couple minutes in flight with V3, but, so far it is very smooth and the graphics appear better. At this point I am certainly happy with the changes. Danny
  14. I have the Epic LT and have been looking for the pilot operating handbook. Can't seem to find one online. I am interested in information about power management. Specifically, torque and prop rpm setting during the various phases of flight (takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, landing). Short of finding a copy of the POH, does anyone have some suggestions concerning the torque and prop setting? By the way, I am using the Epic in P3Dv2.5 and really enjoying it. Regards, Danny

The Basler BT-67 is freeware and works very well in P3DV2.5. It is a DC3 that has been updated to twin turbo props. More modern, more power, and just as good looking. Just a thought. http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/14113/fsx-basler-bt-67-base-pack-v2/
  16. I have tried VATSIM and it was ok. However, I really enjoy Boston Virtual ATC (BVA). Either will work fine, but, take a look at BVA. Regards, Danny
  17. I am using REX and REX Soft Clouds. Like how they look. Seem to work well frame-rate wise. Using them with OPUSFSi as the weather manager.
  18. The latest Migration tool works just fine in V2.5 along with the Hot Fix. At least, it is for me. FSINN even works. Regards, Danny
  19. Question for those who have already installed V2.5. Can V2.5 be installed in a specified drive or must it be installed on the C: drive? I much prefer to install it on a non-system drive. Thanks Danny
  20. Can't get REX Soft Clouds to load textures. When I attempt to load textures the program stops working (get the windows message window indicating such). I posted to REX Soft Clouds forum yesterday, checked by today and the post is gone. Matter of fact all posts after 1 Jan are gone. I reposted the issue today. Hope to get a response soon. Using Windows 7 and P3DV2.4 Regards,
  21. A2A has two nice GA aircraft. A 172 and a 182. These appear to fit your criteria. Danny
  22. Paula: I am a member of Hover Control and have been for a few years. If you will get onto the HC Teamspeak channel in the evenings around 1700 PST there is usually a gentleman by the name of Den who might be able to help you. This assumes you are still interested in joining HC. I have flown on VATSIM and BVA with helis. They are both fun, but, don't give the same level of heli immersion as flying on HC. The one gentleman indicated his experience on HC was that they fly mostly in the PNW. At one time that was very true. With the expansion of Oribx scenary so has the flight area for HC. Anyway, if you are still interested in flying helis and one of the best heli centric flight groups, please get on Team Speak around 1700 PST and we'll see what can be done to help you. Regards, Danny
  23. I have two airports, Catalina Island and KCRE, where the taxiway surfaces do not render. I have used ADE 1.6 to check that the taxiway links are set to "true" and they are. Yet, the surface textures will not render. I am using P3D V2.4 and have no issues with other airports and have been able to cause the taxiway surfaces to render in those airports that I have found where the taxiway links was set to "false". Anyoneelse have this issue with the two airports, and, if so, have you been able to fix it.? Regards,
  24. Get AICarriers2. Great little program, it is free and adds several fully functions carriers to P3D. Regards,
  25. Plan-G, REX, and TrackIR all work just fine with P3D V2.4. Don't have the others, so can't comment on them. Regards,
