No. Neither do. Both offer wing views with no virtual cabin. Both are geared towards systems and the cockpit, not eye candy cabins. For someone who is looking for cabin views, the NGX (at >$70) seems to be a bad choice. For any 737 fanatic, the NGX is the no compromises option. The iFly in the more economical option. Inevitably this will turn into some silly iFly vs NGX thread, so keep the aforementioned in mind when it does.

Thanks for responding. I am in no way attempting to compare the 2 products - enough of that has already been done. As you mentioned, I am an "eye candy" individual. I want to try and replicate my experiences as a passenger because I have never flow a 737, 747, 767, 777 and etc, and do not ever intent to. I do appreciate what Captain Sim has done with their A/C - decent systems plus eye candy cabins. I just enjoy the total airport and flying environment.

I would suggest purchasing the Ariane Design 737, but that would go against any morals I possess. Besides, the price isn't right with those models. Do consider the Ariane products offer full cabins and even airstair/lighting controls for the flight attendants.Making a purchase from Ariane in an "iFly/NGX age" is a can of worms I wouldn't open, though.

Going off memory here, since I'm currently in an hotel in Swansea with no means to check, but doesn't the Wilco/PIC 737 has a cabin? If I'm recalling correctly (might not be), then since most of the Classic 737s which the Wilco package comprises, are broadly similar to NGs on the inside of the cabin (i.e.a 700 model is dimensionally pretty much a 300, the 600 is basically a 500, etc), so would seem to fit the bill, and be a cheaper option than the Ariane NG, which is good, but you pay through the nose for it, and that's difficult to justify when the iFly and the PMDG ones are cheaper.Al

Thanks for all suggestions. I've been flightsimming on the pc before probably many of you were born (even before subLogic days). I remember purchasing the first 737 Ariane Design 737 - it was a nice looking A/C however, I had so much trouble installing/reinstalling that I don't remember ever flying it. I also remember it was rather expensive at the time with ongoing expense for updates. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth with them. Over the years, I have read so many posts concerning dealings with Ariane Design but if the A/C looks like I want, I may take the plunge. I will check the suggestions out.

I've not thought about Ariane in years, this post made me go to Arianes web site and wow the pricing is well optimistic for them guys, bless them. :(

Ariane does not offer a full cabin, at least not in their FSX models (only the galley). They also charge you an arm and a leg, then nickle and dime the rest out of you. If you want a full cabin, for a 737 there really isn't many options. The best one I can recall is the old Wilco 737 PIC, the new one is, well...not good. Forgot to mention that the activation/installation problems with Ariane are still present. You get one activation, after that you pay for them.

I never understood using FSX as a passenger sim. Flying is fun! Learning how to fly realistically is far more exciting than sitting in the cabin looking out a virtual window.
I do that with replays. I don't know what it looks like to actually be in a 737 cockpit for landing, but I do know how it looks from the passenger window. It is a way for me to critique how well I did. Not to mention that flying a jetliner does not give you much opportunity to admire the scenery, watching a replay from a passengers perspective gives this to you.

All the responses to this post have been helpful to subject of post. As we live and learn we will come to unstanding many things that we do not know now. One aspect of FSX is that it offers so many things to so many people. I remember in past times, there were some that never understood why wing views were of interest to anyone but now it is offered on many quality A/C.Thanks anyway . . . . .

The NGX has a cabin view where you can look inside the cabin. You are looking at the wing but can pan the view inside. Wish you could add some passengers and attendants though...
