It is such a shame that Flight1 did not continue Ultimate Traffic development. There were just 2 major bugs in that program, aircraft disappearing when flying over water, and aircraft only appearing and disappearing a small time before and after their flight plan was active. If these could have been fixed, and maybe the gui updated, UT2 would be the best AI traffic program. It has AI aircraft flying more realistic routings than direct-to-gps like every other AI program, and had a lot of customization. But like in life, nothing can be perfect I guess.

Orbx's earlier airports are a fps hog, they never addressed that problem. All the Australia airport scenery are very hard on fps. I have read reports of the new YMMLv3 being a little better performance wise. This is an old topic you could have created a new one.

Orbx Vector have afcad files for KMCO that do not disable when running the Airport Elevation Correction scanner. Go to the Vector folder, then APT_Fixed, and remove the bgl files with KMCO in the name

LM's customers do not push the VAS boundaries like we do, if they did a 64bit version would be out. They could be planning it in the future, but the VAS issue is something us students of flying can get throwing many addons at the system, not professional flight sims and governments who are the main customers.

LM is a defense contractor. I bet you can figure out why they might have added that then.

Why does LM not work with addon developers to get compatibility on launch?

I could but I own one aircraft that is compatible, the Q400, but not much scenery is compatible that I want to use, a lot of Aerosoft scenery that does not work good in P3D. And I would have to get the Estonian Migration Tool which I would rather save my money and buy a new scenery. I will upgrade the day FSLabs release their Airbus.

The developer sets which jetway is by default, sign up to the flytampa forums and request they fix in a future patch if it is possible.

I am not a Prepar3D user yet... but reading the list of fixes to memory leaks gives me hope since the few Twitch and Youtube streamers I see all have problems with OOM and crashes.

The default jetway logic is only for one jetway. If you buy AES (Only compatible with Microsoft's FSX not Steam or P3D) can do 2 jetways.

Myke, I did not have an OOM on this flight. FlyTampa YSSY and T2G VHHH are lighter than most airports for texture memory size. I have had OOM issues going into T2Gate VHHH when flying from FSDT LAX and ZRH but now I purchased FSX Steam and do not have a memory problem.

Is it listed in the exe.xml file?

They are tweaking and bug fixing, bring things like this to their attention and they will fix them in upcoming patches. The flight dynamics are smooth I do not have experience with Airbus but compared to the AS Airbus the FSLabs really flies like FBW is supposed to.

Good job PFPX and FSLabs. I planned a flight pulled the plan from Flightaware, and listened to the HF position report on a LiveATC.net feed en route. Used the PFPX aircraft profile provided by FSL. The fuel I had on board was close to identical to what the pilots reported of the real aircraft over HF. As real as it gets!

Did steam auto update your fsx, scenery.cfg and terrain.cfg corrupted? I cannot think of something else.

I held off Carenado products waiting for this. I guess no real engine modeling such as temperature changes with altitude? Otherwise I cannot resist, it is on my wanted list.

List your terrain addons. If you have Ultimate Terrain run the config tool and it will fix your terrain.cfg. Try the same if you have Orbx products run the FTX Central and first try installing latest library file.

Might jump on the sale of ASCA, for now sticking with ASN since I may move up to P3D soon. What is better for vas numbers, Rex Soft Clouds or ASCA?

I moved up from the AS bus in FSX to the FSL bus in FSX Steam. The FSL is a step up in graphics also everything you mentioned like systems. What cockpit graphics dod you select to install? At least 2048 and if your computer can handle it, 4096 is the best.The better lighting and shadows of the P3D version is making the AS look better.

Do you have the FSLabs? Are you comparing the virtual cockpit of the Aerosoft in P3D to the FSLabs in FSX?

I like the fsl better, the aerosoft is too bright and cartoony to me. The big benefit to fsl is the really nice cockpit lighting. Every knob for lights works. And dual fms operation and independent navigation displays.

The big thing for me is the sky. Does it look like it should depending on the weather and location?

Have you used Rex4 Texture Direct? If so does it compare to the sky and soft cloud textures? I liked the Rex4 being able to change my sky textures to the region I am flying and the weather. Like humid, or oceanic, winter, mountains, pacific etc. Could you do me a favor and post a screen shot of the sky textures in the day when sitting at a hot Dubai, and a cold Canada, or Norway? I would like to compare. I may buy ASCA since it is on sale, and hold off on AS2016 until I decide if I want to go P3D or FSX. And the discount from being an ASN owner is better than the sale price of AS2016 so I can wait to buy that later.
