FSX airports have static approach lights however, when lined up at EDDV I was greeted with the attached! When flying I notice the strobe effect either side of the threshold at airports but it looks like some airports have a strobe effect 'down' the middle of the threshold? I'm not an expert or pro on this but no one else has responded yet and I think it all depends on the runway configurations, whether CAT I or CAT II.
