Just a quick question, when you export a flight plan using vroute to FSX it does not have IFR or VFR in front of it like it does when you make a flight plan in FSX. There is no way to choose in vroute a far as I can tell. So can you tell me if RC sees those plans as IFR only. Thanks Perry.

Hi Perry,Although I use FS9 and not FSX I don't have any problems when importing vRoute-generated plans into RC. The flight level entered into vRoute is correctly read by RC. Have you tried loading one?

Hi Ray,Yes I have imported flight plans into FSX with no problem. But what I was wondering is, with FSX flight planner you can select if it is a VFR or IFR plan and RC will make ATC handle you differently. I was wondering how RC handles flight plans from vroute since there is no way to select if it is a VFR or IFR flight plan. Hope this makes sense, Thanks Perry.

Hi Perry,I've just saved a PLN exported from vRoute for FSX and the first few lines are as follows:[flightplan]AppVersion=9.1.40901title=EGCC Manchester to EHAM Schipholdescription=EGCC, EHAMtype=IFRroutetype=2cruising_altitude=29000As you can see it's definitely a IFR plan. How are you generating yours? RC doesn't support VFR so can only treat your flight as IFR.
