I've found that UAC prevents third party planners (FSbuild in my case) form dropping rte files into the default FSX directories (PMDG and LDS). I'm in stalled under program files so YMMV especially if you got to another path. I suspect that'll be fine.The fix is run fsbuild as administrator and allow it to make changes. Simply removing the read only flag does not work.Tim

Don't install to the default program files folder in the first place and you wont have problems. If there is a program designed to work with FSX that wont work if FSX isn't in the default location then ask for your money back as its not fit for purpose.
