pmdg 747 problems with autopilot

Featured Replies

Hi, I have bought PMDG 747 add on aircraft, but there are errors regarding autopilot. The autopilot command for altitude don't want to work. All other commands works (VS and altitude hold are also among them), but if I set the altitude with altitude selector know autopilot don't want to reach the set altitude.

So you're using the a/pilot manually rather than LNAV?If so, pressing the Alt Hold button will only hold your altitude. You need to chose your desired altitude then engage the VS and set your rate of descent or ascent. The a/pilot will stop climbing when you reach your desired alt.
