October 31, 200916 yr I just installed Windows 7 Home Premium. Then installed FS2004 onto its own hdd. In fullscreen it works great with no problems but in window mode what i like to use with 3 monitors it's like i have a frozen screen but i can hear the sim running in the background. I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers for my GTX 295. Is there any cure for this problem? Thanks.

October 31, 200916 yr Try an older driver. I've heard a lot of mixed review for the newest ones. - Red E8500 @ 4.1 | EVGA 275GTX (overclocked) | 2x2GB Mushkin Enhanced Redline @ 1066 | Samsung 24inch LCD @ 1920x1080 |
October 31, 200916 yr Commercial Member I just replaced a 08/2008 driver with the new one because the old one had the same problems....There are some setting in NVIDIA control panel that you can set specifically for FS2004, maybe there something there that could help ?Bj Bj
October 31, 200916 yr Author Well i found the solution after some hrs playing with windows. What i found is to right click the FS shortcut on my desktop select propertie's/Compatibility and add a tick to "disable desktop composition"bcs112 this should also work with Vista.
