Similar problem to Fang on new install of tile proxy

I wont bore you all too much with my tales of woe, but just built a new main rig for FSX. I set it up and installed tileproxy, and the first time I ran it, it was awesome, i was getting 1500 tiles accesses a second and perfect results at high speeds. I made 2 small test flights. Then I noticed that performance was getting worse., to the point where the textures would snap into high definition. After several days fiddling around, I decided that I would re install both FSX and tile proxy, which I have done. FSX is running pretty good , freshly installed, no add ons. So I have installed tile proxy. It appears to work, all the ovals fill, I get downloading activity, but accesses, hits and misses all show zero. Preloading numbers clock up as normal, but when i get into the sim, there is just the standard scenery showing. I thought I was getting to be a TileProxy old hand, but this has me stumped, I have been trying to sort this out for 2 days now. I read Fangs post and he seemed to be experiencing a similar problem, so I have checked in my cache folders and there are thumbnails showing images of scenery tiles. There are also .bgl and .on files in the scenery folders of various folders I have looked inside in the photoreal world folder. After several shortish test flights my cache folder is only 80mb in size, and my photoreal world folder is 1.2 gb in size.Tileproxy appears to be working properly, but FSX does not seem to be able to access the scenery generated. My folder structure is as follows: H:\TPCache|cache.service3 & H:\TPCache\TileProxy Photoreal WorldI have checked in my FSX scenery .cfg file and there does not appear to be any entries for any world_0302 etc files, just base files, although the world folders show where they should be in my scenery library and are all tickedPlease can someone help, I cant think what else to look for. I have re installed Tileproxy again, same situation. One thing, I am running FSX in DX10 mode, that will not make any difference will it? Thanks , Mark

Hi Mark, see my reply to Fang.hope it helps, all the bestSteve :(

Hey Guys, typical isnt,it, you spend 2 days trying to sort itt out yourself, in desperation, make a post and as soon as you posted, you think of something else to try and it works!!!! I think my problem was that the extra folder I used to instruct where the cacache and photoreal folders were located at install was somehow stopping FSX and TP seeing each other....see my reply to fangthanks anyway, will keep you updated, cheers, Mark
